Obituaries

Age 64 of Halifax passed away suddenly on August 30, 2017. He was the son of the late S. Harold and Elaine (Logan) Smith and was predeceased by brother, Wayne, Ottawa. He is survived by his wife, Belinda, (Tufts); and sisters, Sandra (Earl) Caines, Lois Beckerson, Wendy (Randy) Millington, and many nieces and nephews. He was a taxi owner/operator for 45 years. He was previously employed by Canada Post, and the former owner of the Sea Breeze Tavern. He was proud of being a "northender" and well known for his love of the elderly and animals. Cremation has taken place and a funeral service will be held in St. Margaret of Scotland Anglican Church, 3351 Robie Street, Halifax on Thursday, September 7 at 1:00 PM with Rev.
