Cindy was a bright light in so many people's lives. Her kindness, reassuring words and beautiful smile were my favourite things about her. I was saddened to hear about her passing...the world is a little less bright without this wonderful Bathurst lady.My condolences to the entire family...she will be missed. Margaret ( Eddy) Cooper

My sincere condolences to Cindy's family and friends. I met Cindy at UNB in 1980, and she has been a wonderful friend over the years-- so kind, generous, understanding, smart and genuine. She had the greatest sense of humour, and we had a lot of fun together. I treasure my memories of Cindy. We will all miss her.

"Once a student of hers, then in my grade IX French immersion class, told me : "Do you know, M. Briand, that Mademoiselle Carson is not only a beautiful person from the outside (for Cynthia knew how to dress <<chicly") but most of all from the inside!"

I can't imagine a world without Carson. From the moment we met at school, we became fast friends. Numerous parties, deep conversations and more laughs than you could count. Cindy was a bright light to which everyone was drawn. To the entire Carson family and Cindy's long list of friends, my sincere condolences.

Cindy and I walked the three bridges in Bathurst countless times sharing stories of our individual escapades. We went to CGIT together and sang in the church choirs - often giggling with youthful jubilance. I loved her smile, genuine laughter and kind manner. We experienced Mt. A together and saw each other from time to time over the years - always picking up where we left off. I remember her with great fondness and sweet memories. To me, Cindy was always the older sister of Christopher, Stephanie and James Allen. And a good friend of my sister. She had such a wonderful energy, smile and laughter. We did not cross paths a lot in Halifax, but if you ran into her at MicMac Mall or wherever, it was like time had not passed. My sincere condolences.

My heartfelt condolences to Cynthia's family. I have had the privilege of spending time in conversation and prayer with Cynthia through messenger, mail and phone. I loved to speak with her and share our faith journey and to end our conversations in prayer. She loved her family and God and I am very certain she is with Jesus walking in the garden now. Very sad...Cindy was a close friend in high school. Even though we lost touch after high school, her friendliness and laughter still remain as though it was yesterday. Yes, she hated and struggled in math but was strong in English. My condolences to her family...R.I.P Cindy

Thoughts and prayers to the Carson family and Cynthia's dear friends. She was always happy and had a smile on her face. We sang, or atleast tried our best, during church choir. She made us laugh and was always a bright light. Definitely an angel before her time.

Condolences to Guy and the entire group of family and friends who mourn her loss. This one was special! Truly special. Cynthia was the warmest, most loving, compassionate, funny, good natured soul you could ever want to have in your life. And her zest for life was immeasurable. She always listened intently and gave me the precious gift of making me feel like I was the special one. Getting into trouble with Cynthia was so much fun and so worth it! So sorry to hear of Cindy's passing. She was always Leigh's younger sister to us but I remember her as a very kind and caring person. My deepest condolences to all of the Carson family.

My condolences to Cindy's family and friends. It was a pleasure to know her and her faithful companion, Mocha. I met Cindy as she needed a dog walker and I was looking for a new friend. Cindy was always kind, even though she didn't feel well, always thoughtful, always grateful. I wish I could have gotten to know her better, she was lovely.

Our deepest sympathy to the Carson family, on Cynthia's passing. Cynthia was a great neighbour and friend whom we will deeply miss. Her laugh was indeed infectious and she so often popped in to just chat or tell a joke, she had just heard. She loved all her fur babies especially the German Sheppard breed and her one and only Beagle, Maggie. With her first dog Maggie, she got to know almost every child living in the park, as Maggie was an escape artist. When Maggie took off, the word spread fast, and the neighbour children went looking for her. They all knew Cynthia had a never ending supply of freezes to give out as a reward for Maggie's return. Cynthia was my mincemeat tester each year but she never made it into a pie, just ate it right from the container. Our home was her go too if she needed anything fixed or find out why something was not working. She will forever be etched in our hearts and until we meet again God Speed.

I met Cynthia when she joined the choir at the Church of Saint Andrew. We had many happy times in the alto section! We laughed together, we cried together, we leaned on each other... she was a sensitive soul with a large heart, and I cherish my memories of her. May light perpetual shine upon you, Cynthia. My deepest sympathies to her family and friends as you mourn her loss. Many mourn with you.

Cindy may have passed but her smile and joie de vivre will live on in all who knew her. We shared oh so many wonderful times at Mt A..especially our love of poetry. Leigh and all family, may you hold onto good memories. Sympathy.. Janet Lugar Miller

My sympathies to the entire Carson family. Cindy was our close friend from our early school days in Bathurst through to our retirement years in Halifax/Dartmouth. We have shared so many memories and these will comfort us always..bringing smiles and laughter to our hearts. She was a gem and will be greatly missed.

So sad to see my Bathurst childhood friend pass away. So many memories at he house, our house and of Youghall Beach. Cindy, you will be missed and truly remembered.
