My sincere condolences to Dan's family and friends. I worked with Dan at the base in Halifax many years ago and although he tried hard to be a gruff, tough guy, I could see that he had a big heart. His love of animals confirms that. We had many chats and solved the worlds problems over morning coffee at the office and I was so honoured that he took the time to attend my retirement party. He was a great guy and I'm so sorry to hear of his passing. Gone far too soon and will be sorely missed by so many. RIP, Dan.

Sending heartfelt condolences to Danny' s sister Linda & partner Ian & family & Wanda & family, & many friends & to his nephews , whom he admired, John, Steven &, Michelle. So sorry to hear of Danny's passing, hoping he's in a good place up above. he will be missed. He was a good old friend, spent many wacky & fun times with him over the years, including some crazy trips to Bell lake & Shubie Park back in the day & various camping trips which included my best friends Gillian, & Julian & my sister Cathy & on occassion with my brother Tony, Danny could always tell a great story & he was always on a mission & he loved animals, & the great outdoors, especially bonfires, & most recently we got to see him again at a gathering a couple years ago at Steven & Michelle's & with John , & their friends it was a fun time, one thing he had a knack for & it was always making you laugh, we had many laughs!! ... Rest in peace Danny, so glad we had a little celebration at St.Louis Pub & Grill for you that night a couple years back ... You will be thought of, & missed, big hugs xox from Christine Trask
