Obituary For Deborah Ann Burke

It is with sadness we announce the passing of Deborah Ann Burke, age 66, on March 21, 2019 at home in Dartmouth. Born in Port Wallace, NS to the late Beverley and Elsie (Hannaberry) Keeping, she was predeceased by husband Gerald Burke and daughters Tammy (Mckibbon) and Melanie (Poissant). Although she worked when she was young, she was largely a homemaker after giving birth to her son, with a few stints doing home care and also working as a crossing guard part time. She was an avid bingo player later in life. She is survived by her son, Joseph Poissant, Saskatchewan; sisters Ruth Keeping and Pat Green, Dartmouth; and brothers Dennis and Roger Keeping, Ontario. By request there is no service and cremation has taken place. Ashes will be scattered at places special to her.
