Obituary For Esther Lillian Appleby

Age 93, of Halifax, died January 15, 2022.

Born in Yarmouth, she was a daughter of the late George and Irene (Morton) Lewis.

She is survived by sons Bruce, Halifax, and Ed, Toronto, by daughters Linda Beaver, Halifax, Diane, Sharon Jacobi and Frances all of Dartmouth, Nancy, Enfield, Judy, Toronto, and four grandchildren and one great grandchild.

She was predeceased by her husband Edward, daughter June, son-in-law Arnold Beaver and grandson Dudley, along with her sisters Olive Cohen and Georgina LeBlanc.

Esther enjoyed completing puzzle books, knitting, playing “crazy eights” and bingo. All of which she was still doing up to her death.

A special thank you to the caring staff at Northwood 3 Center, Halifax.

Cremation has been arranged and a private burial will be held at a future date.

All of your family and mine "the Strugnell family" had a good many of years of family fun, playing hide and seek down in back of our house on North St. RIP Mrs Appleby.
