Obituaries

It is with sadness and heavy hearts that we have to announce the sudden passing of our beloved brother and uncle on October 24, 2021. Frank was 73 and lived in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. He was formerly of Havendale, Guysborough County, Nova Scotia.

He enjoyed spending time at his apartment in Dartmouth as well at his family home in Havendale. He would never hesitate to play a game of crib, auction or 45s with family and friends. He enjoyed his country music and always had the latest cassette to play for you. In later years he enjoyed his many finds at Value Village and loved to tell us about them.

Frank worked for many years with various companies which included Steed and Evans, Whebby Enterprises and Dexter Construction.

Frank is survived by siblings: Robert (Laurine), Newtown, Nova Scotia; Norman (Dianne), Springville, Nova Scotia; Maurice (Vera), Plymouth, Nova Scotia; Madeline, Toronto, Ontario and Elsie Wilson, Havendale, Nova Scotia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews as well as great and great-great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Maurice Joseph Cunningham (Lena Margaret Wilcox) and step mother (Madaline Cresine); sisters Mildred (James) Hall; Mary (Frank) Hall; Loretta (Wallace) Chisholm and Genesta Cunningham.

Cremation has taken place and burial will be at St. Patrick’s Cemetery with his family that he so adored.
