Obituary For Glen Walter Hart

It is with deep sadness that Glen’s family announces that he passed away at home, in Sambro, on July 7, 2021 at the age of 51. Glen was the beloved son of Harold and Dorothy Hart and the youngest of their eight children. Glen was a true entrepreneur and, at a very young age, worked with his Father developing land and working at Hart’s Grocery which he later purchased and operated with his partner Char. Glen and Char then went on to create a successful arborist business and, from time to time, he enjoyed working with his father Harold, his brother John as well as his son Luke, of whom he was very proud. Glen was an avid hunter, sport fisherman, enjoyed weight training, music and playing golf plus, he had a very special love for his dogs. He had an incredible sense of humour and oh how he loved a challenge!! You could also find Glen in the workshop, that his Father built, carving out some pretty creative wooden pieces. Glen is survived by his partner Charlotte Drisdelle; his beloved son Luke, his cherished Mother Dorothy (Beaver) Hart, sisters Brenda (Gord) Osmond, Kathy (Charlie) Johnson, June (Rob) Schwartz, Connie (Jason Angel) Hart, Jackie (Wade) Schnare, brothers John (Lisa Boudreau) and Sonny (Maria), 13 nieces and nephews plus 13 great nieces and great nephews. Glen was predeceased by his Father, Harold Burton Hart, grandparents Hazel Stella (Trueman) and Irving Hart and Charles and Essie Mae (Boutilier) Beaver. Glen has been laid to rest at a private family service. "You went on ahead of us - Rest Easy - until we meet again" In memory of Glen, donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
