Obituary For Helen Nickerson

Helen Nickerson- 87- With great sadness, Helen passed away on November 29th. She was predeceased by her parents Ed & Emma (Faulkner) Manthone. Helen was a school teacher for 30+ years. She is survived by her special family Leo & Sheila Bowser, also her brother Brian and sisters Elsie and Marjorie. She was predeceased by brothers Hector, Edward, Eric and sisters Phyllis and Gloria. A special thanks to Jeannine and Owen Hazel , and Ivany Place for their care. Creation has taken place under the care and direction of Donald K. Walker Funeral Home. Burial will be at a later date.

    Paul and I lived directly across the street from Helen, from 1973 onward, so we got to know Helen quite well. We visited and chatted often, as we did for many years with Earl and their dog Snapper. She called me regularly, until quite recently. I think of her often, and will miss her. Best wishes Eddie - whom she talked about constantly.

    I have some wonderful memories of teaching with Helen at South Woodside School in the early 1980's.
