Age 32 of Halifax, lost his battle to complications from Crohn's on Sunday, September 17, 2017 and he will be dearly missed. Growing up in Tantallon, Jason loved sports. He competed in swimming, volleyball, basketball, baseball and track and field (throwing). For the majority of the last ten years, Jason lived in Toronto and worked in commercial sales, which gave him opportunities to travel extensively. Jason made friends wherever he went, inspired loyalty and was loved. His strength and zest for life was inspiring. He is survived by mother, Ida Denys (Aucoin), sisters, Jenna and Jeannie; father Ray Denyes and stepmother Tammatha; and step-siblings, Brian and Carroll-Lynn. Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00AM Friday in Donald K. Walker Funeral Directors Ltd., Dartmouth. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of Canada.
