I have too many stories, too many memories of happy times (including once when I was 4 when I "ran away" across the street to the sanctuary of Aunt Jean's house when Mum was too busy or too tired to entertain me). I simply can't explain my childhood in particular, or my life in general, without her. Love, always.... Hugh

Dear Nancy and Greg, Martha and I were sad to hear that your mother passed away but at the same time so happy that she managed her life in her own way right up to the end. I have so many good memories of Aunt Jean from the time I was a child on Waegwoltic Avenue. It was a stroke of great good luck that our families lived across the street from one another - something for which I am very grateful.

Dear Nancy and Greg, What fond memories I will forever have of Aunt Jean! I am happy that as I child I saw her talents for creating things with her hands :. from cooking, decorating cakes, to sewing beautiful clothes to wrapping presents so beautifully that we didn't want to open them! As an adult I enjoyed her wit, her opinions, and her interest in our lives and those of my children! Recently we had great visits by phone as well as when I got back to N.S . I will miss her and certainly want to share my condolences with you. Love, Wendy
