Originally from Wedgeport Nova Scotia, Jean came to Eastern Passage at the age of 17 for a brief stay before continuing on to live with relatives in Boston. She met her future husband, Raymond Walters during that “brief stay” and needless to say her plans changed and Eastern Passage became her forever home. Jean was all about family whom she loved dearly. She loved her church, Hillside Wesleyan, her bible study group and all of her friends. When people talk about Jean they always say what a kind and giving person she was and always remember her beautiful smile.
The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at the Twin Oaks hospital for their care and compassion. They genuinely cared for her and it was evident to Jean and her family and for that they are forever grateful.
A funeral Service and reception will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at the Hillside Wesleyan Church, 50 Ritcey Crescent, Cole Harbour.
REMEMBER ME Don’t remember me with sadness, don’t remember me with tears, Remember all the laughter we’ve shared throughout the years. Now I am contented that my life it was worthwhile, knowing that I passed along the way I made somebody smile. When you are walking down the street and you’ve got me on your mind, I’m walking in your footsteps only half a step behind. So please don’t be unhappy just because I’m out of sight. Remember that I’m with you each morning, noon and night.
Condolences
