I have fond memories of fun times with Joey while living communally in Halifax, and also, if my memory serves me right, working with him in a kind of print shop in Toronto. Joey was reliable and steady and made heavy cares light. He knew what he knew, and he lived his truth without needing to explain himself. A rare gem, is Joey.

My cousin Joey Goodyear "I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and scrolls were opened. But another scroll was opened; it is the scroll of life. The dead were judged out of those things written in the scrolls according to their deeds. And the sea gave up the dead in it, and death and the Grave gave up the dead in them, and they were judged individually according to their deeds." Revelation 20:12, 13 See you when you get back.

Joey was a wonderful mentor and friend to so many people. He was always there for anyone who needed help. Books could be written about all of his good deeds. He also worked for the railroad. He loved kids, was a big brother/ uncle to all of my kids, especially my son Robert. Joey will always hold a dear place in our hearts and cherished memories. Love you Joe!! XOXO
