Obituary For Lawrence "Lonnie" William Warren

Warren, Lawrence (Lonnie) William - age 60

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lonnie on July 18th, 2022 in Halifax after a short battle with cancer. Lonnie was surrounded with love and will be greatly missed.

Lonnie was born in Halifax to Myrtle(Baker) and the late Lawrence Warren Sr.

Lonnie's favorite saying when asked how he was - Living the Dream and he lived that dream on his own terms.

At a young age he set off to see his country working his way across Canada and down through the USA. He always had great stories to tell of his adventures and the people he met and appreciated the hospitality of family and friends that put him up along the way. After returning to Nova Scotia- Lower Sackville he worked as a truck driver and then drove taxi and this is when he met the love of his life, soul-mate Kay and was blessed with a ready-made family of whom he was so proud of.

Lonnie is survived by his loving wife and soul mate Kathleen Mary (Mansfield) Stepdaughters Susan Seaboyer (Shaun) and Barbara Seaboyer pGrandchildren Gavin and Brooklyn Porter, Mya Borden and Logan Seaboyer (his little buddy) who always called him Uppie. Mother - Myrtle (Baker) Warren and siblings Karen Verge, Sherri (Bob) Polstra, Stephen (Trish) as well as many nieces, nephews and their families as well as his extended in-law family.

Lonnie was predeceased by his Father Lawrence Warren from whom he got his love of trucking from, and a brother and sister in infancy.

Lonnie was a kind, caring, loving man and would always help anyone that needed it making him many life long friends who truly loved him and will miss him dearly. Lonnie valued his family and his friends deeply.

Thank you to the staff of the QE11 Emergency department for their care, kindness and compassion.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2022 2-4 pm Vineyard Family Ministry (the Ice Cream Church) 1129 Sackville Dr. Middle Sackville NS B4E-3C8
