Obituary For LeFave Hubert Louis

LeFave, Hubert Louis, 85 - It is with great sorrow that the family announces his peaceful passing on Friday May 11, 2018, at the Dartmouth General Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Mayflower, Digby County and was the son of the late John and Mabel (Doucet) LeFave. He worked hard all of his life, employed with Northeast Equipment and Seaboard Industrial Supplies. His enjoyment in life came from spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great granddaughter, playing cards and listening to country music. He also enjoyed rowing around the lake with his dog, Sam. He was a lover of good food, especially rappie pie. He will always be remembered for his great sense of humour. Hubert is survived by his loving wife Leah (Leslie) of 62 years; daughters Karen (Terry), Cathy, and Diane; grandchildren, Alanna (Andrew), Michael (Jill), Elyse, Shawn (Courtney), Emilie and Sylvie; great granddaughter Kaleigh; sisters Lauraine (Clements), Geraldine (Muise); brother Paul (Christine) and many nieces and nephews. Hubert was predeceased by brother John, sister Jeannette (Comeau), and a brother and sister in infancy. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff at the Dartmouth General Hospital Emergency Department and also for the prompt and compassionate care of the EHS staff.
