Obituary For Lillian Josephine Dickson

84 years of age of North Noel Road, passed away peacefully at Glen Haven Manor on August 6, 2022. Lillian was born in Upper Kennetcook to the late John and Mildred (Singer) Dixon.

Lillian worked as a PSW her whole career, she lived to care and support people. If Lillian wasn’t taking care of others, you could find her in a bingo hall.

Lillian is survived by her son Donald (Joanne), and daughters Mildred (Allen Ettinger), Betty (Kenny Greene), Yvonne (Glendon McCulloch), Laura Lee (Francy Green), and Daughter in Law Vicki (Tim Bremner).

Grandchildren Dawn (Brett), Kim (Robert), Ashley (Brett), Patrick (Chelsi), Melanda (Dirk), Andrew (Christine), Kristy (Mike), and Elliott. Great grandchildren Josh (Mary-Sarah), Jordan (Ethan), William, Lucas, Claire, Aviana, Maxx, Finn, and Maleigha.

Lillian is also survived by sister in law Evelyn White, brother in law Frank Dickson and many nieces and nephews.

Lillian was predeceased by loving husband of 63 years, Carleton Dickson, son Kevin, brothers Robert Dixon, Jamie Dixon, Ralph Dixon, and sisters Elizabeth Komar, Norah Spicer, Jane Anthony, Gladys Dickson.

As per Lillian’s request there will be no service or visitation, cremation has taken place.

    Lil was a great lady. I never forget how Lil and Carly would take my dad (Ross) to jamboree's with them when his health started failing, I always loved that they did that ,, she was a wonderful lady , RIP Lil

    Lil will always be known as Gram Dickson. When you think of what a grandmother should be, that was Lil. She was always happy, friendly and kind to all of the kids. Sending love and support to all of the family now as she is now at peace. Love Bill & Kim Quilty
