Obituary For Lloyd Merlin Conrod
It’s with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear husband/ father Lloyd Merlin Conrod on November 18, 2020 in the DGH at the age of 80.
He was the son of the late Annie Conrod and William Cross. Lloyd worked for McCurdy brothers and L. A. Shaw as a laborer until he no longer could work. Anyone who knows him knows he had a heart of gold and a cute smile. Lloyd loved NASCAR and enjoyed going to the races with family. He also enjoyed his trips to Florida. He enjoyed going for walks using his scooter with his son or just going for drives with family. Lloyd will be remembered by his wife Hilda (45 years), son Robert and daughter Angela and brother Earl (Bev), sister Emma (John) and sister in law Annie Conrod and his many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by brothers Harris and Wilfred Conrod.
He will be forever missed and always loved. There will be no funeral service by his request. Feel free to leave a memory.

I remember seeing Lloyd and Hilda at Superstore browsing the aisles and it was always nice to see you both. Lloyd had a great smile. I know his whole family will miss him so much. Rest in peace, Lloyd. - Bridget Marshall

I will miss you Uncle Lloyd You were the first introduced me to Big Macs....I love them to this day. I had one on November 18 in honor of you. I also remember the last time I visited you when you were in the hospital and Angie told you Kimmie came all the way from New Brunswick to see you and you said well she can get back in the car and go home Lol.....Love you Aunt Hilda, Robert and Angie my heart goes out to you all. Just think he is not in any more pain...he loved you all dearly xoxo
