Obituary For Louise Theodora Samson
Age 87 - It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many, on Dec 4th, 2018 at the Strait Richmond Hospital, Lower River. Born in Arichat on February 1st 1931, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Florence (LeBlanc) Samson.
Theodora is survived by daughters Wanda (preceded Louis) Marchand, Boston; Carmella (Jr Colin) Samson, D'Escousse; sons Wayne Samson, Alderney Point; Blair (Geraldine) Samson, Poirierville; brother Ovide (Muriel) Samson, Alderney Point; sister and Godchild Palmire (John) Martell, Little Anse; grandchildren Jason Marchand, Sherry Callahan, Kalsey Samson, Amie Grant, April Samson, Crystal Kearney, Shayelle (Boudreau) Samson, Dante and Faith Samson; great grand-children Ayden, Kaylee, Dylan, Phoenix, Aria and Isaiah. She is preceded in death by her husband Melvin, daughter Dana (Gary), brother Medard and sisters Leta and Leonie.
Theodora was a kind, loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her family meant the world to her. She enjoyed all family events and get-togethers, her daily phone calls with her sister Palmire and especially going to bingos. She had great Faith, in her daily prayers to God, Mary, St. Anne and all the Saints in Heaven, she named them all. We always knew when we needed help in any area, mom was only a prayer away. Her strength, courage, and belief was a blessing to all of us. We will forever miss her stories, her laughter but most of all the love she had for her family.
