HARDY (WHITE) - Mary Elizabeth (Betty) It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of Mary Elizabeth (Betty) Hardy, 82, of Lower Sackville on January 3rd, 2020. To know Betty was to love her. Daughter to Graham and Helen (Beach) White, she had a warmth about her that turned strangers to friends and friends to family. There was nothing Betty loved more than a good cup of tea and great conversation, always ready to share a story and a laugh. Predeceased by her husband Douglas and her brothers James, Robert and Donald, friends and family were very important to her and she treasured each and every one of those relationships dearly. She is survived by her 4 sons Steven, Tom, Philip (Sherry), David and her treasured and very special grandson Cole. Always ready to play cards or head out to Bingo, a good time was sure to be had given her spunky personality and excellent sense of humour. Loved beyond measure by those lucky enough to have known her, she loved to laugh and have a good time. She will be missed.

Please join us in a celebration of Betty’s life on Tuesday, January 14th at 11am. Service to take place in the Chapel at Nothwood’s Ivany Place Nursing Home, 123 Gary Martin Drive in Bedford, 2nd Floor. Reception to follow.
