Obituary For Mary Cecilia O'Hearn

O'Hearn, Mary Cecilia, age 95 of Halifax passed away peacefully on July 8, 2019 in the Abbie Lane Hospital surrounded by her family. Born in Halifax, she was the daughter of the late Ernst McPeak and Margaret Cecilia Malloy. Her happiest times were spent taking long drives through the countryside and spending time with her family when she wasn't playing her favorite game of bridge with her friends. She is survived by daughters Carol Weinberg and Janet O'Hearn and sons Steven (Jean), Douglas (Anne), Michael (Christine) and Timothy and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband John and son-in-law Paul Weinberg. Cremation has taken place. A funeral mass and reception at St. Thomas Acquinas Church corner of Oxford and Jubilee will be held 9 a.m. July 12, 2019. A private burial will be held at a later date. Donations may be made to Souls Harbour Rescue Mission.
