Obituaries

It is with mourning hearts to announce that Phyllis Marie Jones (Paisley), aged 93, passed away peacefully at home in Halifax on June 27th, with family by her side.

Phyllis was born on July 7th, 1925 to Walter J Paisley and Elizabeth L Ervin in St. John, New Brunswick. On April 3rd, 1945 she married the love of her life, Leo J. Jones of Roseville PEI.

Phyllis is survived and will be sadly missed by their four children, Leo, Nancy (Bob), Kathryn and Bryan (Debbie). Grandchildren: Stephanie, Leona (Lah), Robbie (Hayley), Careen (Kevin), Robert and Blaize. Great Grandchildren: Paislie, Leonita, Majlinda, Jessica, Josh, Sarah, Camryn, Justine, Robbie, Nick, Noah, Charlie Ann, Jessica and Grace. Extended family members: Roslyn, Alicia and Dorothy.

She will also be remembered and mourned by so many others including long time neighbours and family friends.

Phyllis had a great sense of humour, a quick wit, amazing strength and boundless love for her family! She was dedicated to the catholic church and was an avid dart league team member.

She will never be forgotten and will carry on in the hearts of many!

A mass in her honour will be arranged at a later date for family and friends.
