  Hello Ron. I'm sorry we have not met. I am David's cousin and am saddened to learn of his passing. i was hoping to see him again this summer on a trip from my home in Florida. On behalf of my mother Irene Burgoyne of Victoria BC (David's aunt, widow of Frank Burgoyne) and my brother Steve (Nelson, BC), we send sincere condolences. I have a happy memory of the last time I saw David. We had dinner at the family house in Mahone Bay and he toured me around Halifax on sunny day in July. I am sorry for your loss.

  Ron, please accept our sincerest condolences on David's passing. He was one of our favourite customers and he will be greatly missed. David was someone who was always willing to share his vast knowledge with anyone, particularly in the fields of early Nova Scotia furniture and maritime pottery.   We were saddened to hear of David's passing and send our condolences. Mrs. T remembers exactly where he sat in her class! We often mention both David and Connie, especially if we are in Mahone Bay. We passed the house earlier this year and noticed Connie's old car still in the yard. We also remember your visits for plants and David's keen interest in antiques.   Dear Ron; Met you and David so long ago in Puerto Vallarta and I can't tell how much your friends loved you two and the lovely late afternoon Happy Hours every day at Apache's. I added a few pictures showing the both of you during the major street renovations in February 2012. No matter what, we always showed up whether there was a new sidewalk yet or simply plywood over dirt. We all has such a wonderful time and you and David will be missed.   I remember when young, living in Hubbards and visiting my father's side of the family in Mahone Bay. Nothing but the best of memories and visiting David always made me laugh. Such a nice young man and loved his best pal, his cat. Sympathy to you Dr Muir and all his lifelong friends.

  David and I had a mutual friend, Carol, who we lost recently as well. He always came into the office and showed us his latest purchase and explained where it was from etc. So very sorry to hear he passed.

  Ron i am so sorry to hear of Daves passing.i worked with him at DND.he was a very good man friendly and thoughtful . his mom always made fudge every christmas for the whole office .my condolences to you and his family and friends. myrtle magennis

  I did not know David personally. However, his mother was my Bridgewater High School French teacher many years ago. She was a great teacher and a fine lady, well liked and respected by her students. David would sometimes drop in after school to see her. So sorry to hear of his passing. My condolences to his family, friends and all who loved him. Sincerely, Sandy Smith

  I worked with David for many years and will miss his stories and knowledge about his favourite hobby of antiques. As he was in the hospital he asked me to pick up a parcel from Canada Post which was his last purchase of pottery.

  So sorry to hear of Dave's passing. I worked with Dave for years at DND, he was always friendly and kind and we loved to talk about our moms. He brought in a lunch that his mom had made, he shared and I loved it and his mom wrote out the recipe and he gave it to me, nice memory. My condolences, Ron. Cathe Little
