Obituary For Robert Allan Hillier

Robert Allan Hillier - 68 - Sydney

We sadly announce that our brother Robin passed away at his home in Sydney on September 21. He is the son of the late Leonard and Jane Hillier. Rob leaves behind daughter Diana, sister Brenda (Wayne Moores)of Dartmouth, sister Patricia (Levangie)of Lower Sackville and brother Lenny of Sydney.

Robin was a real sport enthusiast who played hockey as a youth and never missed watching his favourite hockey and football teams. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He spent three years in the Royal Canadian Air Force. He Then worked for Panarctic Oil in Alberta as a radio operator. Then for Transport Canada in Fort Simpson, Yarmouth and Halifax. Cremation has taken place and a family commemoration will take place at a later date.

    I was very sad to hear of Roberts passing! We were very close friends at one time and over the years we went our separate years and I lost track of Robert and where he was! We shared a lot of fun times together when we were in our twilight teens! My condolences to all of Roberts family at this time. I had a lot of fun and good times with "Red" as we all called him back then! Rest In Peace my friend.
