Obituaries

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Robert (Bob) Arnold Parker on January 17, 2022 at the age of 69. To the late parents of Arnold Parker and Grace (Houle) Parker.

He was born and raised in Mill Village, NS. In the early years he worked as a mechanic and loved to get his hands dirty. Bob was a hard working man dedicated to his family. He loved to fish and take walks around the neighbourhood. He spent many years being a custodian worker for an apartment building. He loved nothing more than to sit on the porch with a coffee chatting with neighbors. Bob had a wicked sense of humour and was a lifelong animal lover. Being a single father of five he loved spending time with his family and friends. He will be missed by his children, Lindsey Parker, Natasha Parker, Timothy Parker, Michelle Parker, David Parker, Sisters, Lois (Parker) Laffin, Stella (Parker) Leckie, Carol (Parker) Mason, pre-deceased Shirley Parker, Grandkids, Isabel Parker, Samantha Parker, Skye Parker, Candace (Parker) Cockrell, Maxum Simms, Alex, Josh, Summer Parker and his great grandchildren.

All the fun memories me and papa had together. I always loved going to Papas to see him. He was always excited to see me and I was excited to see him. I’m so happy I had him as my Papa. He was the best grandfather ever. I loved seeing him smile and I still do in my heart everywhere and every day (Isabel Parker)
