Obituaries

It is with great sadness we announce the death of Sam "Gerry", age 79, of Cole Harbour, formerly of Little Bay East, NL. He has gone home to be with his Lord and Saviour. He passed away peacefully at home, spending his final days with his family. Gerry served 33 years in the Canadian Armed Forces, retiring as a Regemental Sergant Major. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and really enjoyed the outdoors. He will be sadly missed by his wife, Mary (Ryan); daughter, Angela (Andy); sons, Greg (Bertha), Gary (Anne), Leonard (Trine), Robert (Heather); 11 grandchildren adn 6 great-grandchildren.
