Sharon was a force to be reckoned with - always honest and no BS. That was my experience with her when I worked for Jacques Whitford/Stantec. Very sad to hear of her passing. - Allison Denning

Such sorry news. I worked with Sharon for several years and enjoyed her conversation and stories, all shared with her signature wit and humor each time we spoke. She was always ready to help others with their problems, regardless how trivial, typically with a dry comment, but always with true concern and care. Condolences to her close, and extended family members. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Lisa, I'm so grateful that you answered my text message to Sharon last week. I'm so shocked and sad about Sharon's passing. We just ate lunch together a couple weeks ago as she was helping me finalize the catering choice for my mom (Dorothy's) celebration of life. She has been selflessly helping me with this and I just can't believe that she won't be there. I always wondered how Sharon had the time to check in with everyone regularly. I loved her unfiltered hilarious comments and her caring, kind and thoughtful personality. She was a great friend to mom and the became especially close over the past year or so. Then after mom passed she made sure I was doing okay and always checked in. Such an amazing friend. She told me that she believed heaven was a great place and way better than the worries we all have to deal with here on earth. Sharon, I hope you are having fun and enjoying this next phase of life after death. Say hi to mom, Love ya, Leah xo

I was so shocked to learn of Sharon's passing. Yes, she had a dry sense of humour, was a wonderful caregiver to both her sister and father, was always friendly and just recently we talked about playing bridge as she had taken lessons. She will be missed at 10 Horizon Court. My condolences to all. Mary Osborne, Apt. 308

Sharon was one of the most genuine friends I've had. She was incredibly helpful to those who worked with her. Her manner was to never let anyone down. She also had a perspective of communicating a truth that was exactly right for the time without adding a judgment. A special woman in every way.

To Sharon's Family, My condolences to you on Sharon's sudden passing. My shock and sadness are beyond. We met at the MicMacMall foodcourt as our Dad's (Gerry Flinn) were great friends and we were their transportation. Soon we just joined in as regulars. My Dad passed 7 months after Gordie and they were like Brothers who cared so much about each other. Sharon was so sweet to my Dad baking him sweets or making him meals when he lived alone. We all felt intertwined. I feel like texting Sharon to say let's meet at MMM. Oh my....I will sure miss her great sense of humour and "fun" stories! The staff at the MMM food court will miss her deeply. Hugs to all.
