It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Thomas Kenneth
Young. 76.
He was born in Halifax. He was the son of the late Thomas Alexander and Etta (Allen) Young.
He was predeceased by his sister Shelia (Valentine). Survived by his brother Jimmie and nephews Matthew and Michael Young. Grand nieces and nephews.
He will be dearly missed by his friends Bill and Cathy, Gerald and Arlene. And also, his friends on Arnold DR.
He had a diverse work history. He was an Air Force veteran; He also worked at Canada Post, Halifax Dockyard and drove Y Taxi for several years.
Many thanks to the dedicated staff at the V. G. Hospital on 6A and 7A. Your kindness was amazing!
Tom is now joined by old friends and relatives, along with his favorite dog Abby.
A celebration of life will take place on June 4 at 1pm at Walkers Funeral Home 11 Akerley Boulevard, Dartmouth (Burnside).
