Doris Darlene Jordan
Obituary For Doris Darlene Jordan
Jordan, Doris Darlene
1960-2024
It is with a shattered heart we announce the sudden passing of Doris Darlene Jordan (64)
aka DD, Darlene, Ninnie and last but certainly not least Mom to many.
Darlene is predeceased by her father Basil Jordan and Mother Doris Jordan (Gray)
She is survived by her Sons Chad Jordan (Alf Morrison) and Kevin Mackenzie, Brothers Danny, Buddy (Rhonda) and
Sisters Nancy Jordan, Karen Mosher (Blaine), Shelley Kidson (Bruce) as well as her 3 Nieces ; Amber, Jamie and Madison . Heather Gray and Zarrin (god son) and her very best friend Eydie Teas (Neil).
Darlene grew up in Lower Sackville with her 5 siblings who meant the world to her. Darlene spent her younger years working at Connors Deli and the last majority of her life working alongside Debbie and Glen and a great crew at A1 Towing whom most days she loved dearly.
Darlene adored all of her children fiercely and was not afraid to show it. She would give anyone the shirt off of her back and had a heart of gold. Darlene loved the ocean, going to Peggy's Cove and looked forward to her annual camping trip to Smileys campground every year. Darlene spent 20 years of her life raising and spoiling her nieces and nephew and anyone else who needed her. She gave with all she had and expected nothing in return. Everyone around her was always and completely taken care of. Everyone will greatly miss her big delicious meals during the holidays where everyone left with extra because she always made sure everyone was fed and will miss her backyard campfires.
She spent her last few years with her beloved animals at home whom she loved more than anything and her son Kevin. She was so proud of the men she’d raised her boys and boys to be.
Darlene passed surrounded by love and her closest people and will be forever missed and certainly never forgotten. Many thanks to the nursing staff at Dartmouth General ICU for their kindness and support.
My MothersVoice
I hear your voice
When my day begins
Be kind to all
Some may become friends
Your voice echoes strong
When life gets tough
Dont lose faith
Your best is enough
I am never afraid
To seize the day
Because my mothers voice is with me
To guide my way.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Condolences
