Leo Francis Boland, 88 of Halifax , NS passed peacfully away on August 29 2024 in the Abby Lane hospital surrounded by family.
Leo was born to the late Leo and Mable Boland of St.John's ,NL. He joined the miltary at the age of 18 and served until his retirement in 1985. Leo was an avid bridge player and loved to play cards with friends and family.
Leo is survived by his common law spouse Joyce Partridge and her son Michael (Darlene). His also survived by his stepson Gary Sutherland and stepdaughter Sharon Havill. Leo was also predeceased by his fomer wives Anita Boland and Beatrice Boland as well as his sons Dale and Michael.
Leo was predeceased by his brothers and sisters Jim( Maude) , Edward (Gertrude), Cecelia Doyle ( William) , Alice Hollett ( Charles) , Catherine Doyle ( Robert) and Madge Boland . He was also survived by a great many nices and nephews.
