Obituary For Neil "Nipper" MacDonnell

* Heaven called an angel home today *

Neil MacDonnell(nipper) born in Saint John, NB on April 22, 1967 passed away peacefully on the 13th of April 2024 in Dartmouth, NS surrounded by his loving family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He was the son of Angus MacDonnell and Mary Buffett.

He's survived by his mother Mary Buffett, sister Mary Mackie(Baker Mackie), step sister Gretta Kegan, two daughter's, Laura Holland and Melissa MacDonnell (Mikey Inglis) and his three grandchildren, Savannah, kadance, and Melinda.

Nipper was a quiet man who lived a quiet life. He loved his family and games the most. He grew up in Long Point, NS before settling in Dartmouth, NS.

we would like to thank the amazing staff at the Dartmouth General ICU for all of their care and support during nipper stay.

Funeral arrangements will be made at a later date.

We love you buddy, as far as the sky goes

    Reading this now is my finding out about Neil. I'm stunned. I'm so sorry. Neil and I caught up after many years, a few days ago via fb but again lost touch. I always hoped to run into him again on one of my trips home. I saddens me greatly to know that won't happen. 😔 I have many great memories of our time in cadets together, both in Judique and at Camp Argonaut. RIP Nipper, you were a good friend 💕
