Obituary For Peter James Brown
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Peter, age 67, on December 23, 2023.Born in Halifax, he was the son of the late Barbara (Creelman) and Harry Brown. He was also predeceased by his brother, Donald.
Peter enjoyed hunting and fishing but especially hockey, both playing and as a spectator. His favorite team was the Chicago Black Hawks.
He spent many years with the Special Olympics sports program as a coach and travelled to Atlanta and Australia with the team.
Peter is survived by his son Keith, brothers David and Paul, and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Peter’s life will be held at a later date
