The family of Sharon Roche, sadly announce her sudden passing June 18, 2024. She will be lovingly remembered by her brother Mike (Lisa); nieces Nicole (Alex); Wendy (Alex); nephew Cory (Nicole); great niece Emma Sarty, numerous other family members and lifelong friends. Predeceased by parents Gordon and Jean; siblings D Lynn, Gordie Joseph. Sharon loved her job at Stantec where she met many friends over her 30 years.Sharon loved her family, and was a caregiver to them all, with the love and support of Sandra and Tammy. Days she spent at Sean and Lois' and "playing with Janet" always made great 9pm phone conversations every evening with her brother. Sharon was always happy near the beach, lake, sun and family. We will remember her laugh, dry humor, and love for life. A private family service will be held later this year. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Souls Harbour, Halifax.

I can agree with all of the kind words that have been said about Sharon. She was a loyal and valued colleague who always gave all to get the job done. Sharon was particularly helpful to me with administrative difficulties. We worked closely together for several years. My favorite memories of Sharon were the many laughs we shared sometimes to the point of tears streaming. After she retired, we remained in touch. I greatly enjoyed that and will miss it. Rest in Peace Sharon.

I was heartsick to hear of Sharon's passing. She was the greatest telephone support as we cared for our aging parents. We had such special conversations about her Dad and Betty, my Mum who passed last year at 99. My deepest condolences to her family.

Our heartfelt condolences to Sharon's family and close friends. We were shocked and saddened to hear of her passing. She would join us at our table at MMM food court and add to the conversations and laughs. She was always pleasant, kind and funny, and it was easy to tell she was a good woman liked by all. Doris, myself, Kevin, Donnie & others will miss having her drop by to share time with us. As Donnie's neighbor she often shared a meal and always gave a call. I know her friendship was appreciated and will be missed. I wish I'd had more time to know her. Kris

Such sorry news. I worked with Sharon for several years and enjoyed her conversation and stories, all shared with her signature wit and humor each time we spoke. She was always ready to help others with their problems, regardless how trivial, typically with a dry comment, but always with true concern and care. Condolences to her close, and extended family members. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Lisa, I'm so grateful that you answered my text message to Sharon last week. I'm so shocked and sad about Sharon's passing. We just ate lunch together a couple weeks ago as she was helping me finalize the catering choice for my mom (Dorothy's) celebration of life. She has been selflessly helping me with this and I just can't believe that she won't be there. I always wondered how Sharon had the time to check in with everyone regularly. I loved her unfiltered hilarious comments and her caring, kind and thoughtful personality. She was a great friend to mom and the became especially close over the past year or so. Then after mom passed she made sure I was doing okay and always checked in. Such an amazing friend. She told me that she believed heaven was a great place and way better than the worries we all have to deal with here on earth. Sharon, I hope you are having fun and enjoying this next phase of life after death. Say hi to mom, Love ya, Leah xo

Sharon was one of the most genuine friends I've had. She was incredibly helpful to those who worked with her. Her manner was to never let anyone down. She also had a perspective of communicating a truth that was exactly right for the time without adding a judgment. A special woman in every way.

To Sharon's Family, My condolences to you on Sharon's sudden passing. My shock and sadness are beyond. We met at the MicMacMall foodcourt as our Dad's (Gerry Flinn) were great friends and we were their transportation. Soon we just joined in as regulars. My Dad passed 7 months after Gordie and they were like Brothers who cared so much about each other. Sharon was so sweet to my Dad baking him sweets or making him meals when he lived alone. We all felt intertwined. I feel like texting Sharon to say let's meet at MMM. Oh my....I will sure miss her great sense of humour and "fun" stories! The staff at the MMM food court will miss her deeply. Hugs to all.
