Obituaries

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donald (Donnie) Joseph Mac Mullin, at the age of 75, in Dartmouth, N.S., on May 8, 2023.

Donnie was born in Sydney, N.S. and was the son of the late Joseph Bernard and Catherine Ann Mac Mullin (Mac Lellan).

Donnie spent his youth in Cape Breton with many years on Central Street, in Sydney, in a typically large family.
He thoroughly enjoyed country music, western movies and watching hockey.

He was extremely good natured, a sweet soul and he loved to socialize, especially with family and his two best friends Jerry Boudreau and Carmen Boyle.

Donnie is survived by his sister Elizabeth (Betty) Burke, Antigonish, his brother Wayne Mac Mullin, Sydney and by several nieces and nephews;
Lisa Melanson, Danny Burke, Jason Corbett and Tina Corbett.

He was predeceased by brothers,Stephen Mac Mullin and Joseph Mac Mullin and his sister Barbara Corbett.

We would like to thank the team at the Colonial Home in Cole Harbour for the many years of service and great care, Donnie really enjoyed living there.

Cremation has taken place and interment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery, Sydney Forks, to be announced at a later date.
