Obituary For Donald Vincent Campbell

Campbell, Donald Vincent

Age 83 of Halifax passed away peacefully Feb 10th, 2025 in palliative care at Melville Lodge, his home since 2019. Donald worked at Canada Post for well over 30 years and retired in 2000.

Donald enjoyed bowling and was on many teams especially the Cape Breton team. He also went to watch as many baseball games on the commons as he could. You could also find him in the Lions Head and the Red Fox. Donald loved talking to everyone and he never forgot a name and where they were from.

He was pre deceased by parents Hector and Helen (Boudreau) Campbell. He is survived by brothers Maurice (Barb) Ephrem (Dianne) sister Catherine Power (Allan) and many nieces and nephews.

Many thanks to the care givers and nurses at Melville Lodge. Cremation has taken place and there will be a mass at St. Catherines Church on Feb 20th at 11am
