Gregory “Greg” Leo Delaney It is with a heavy heart that we tell you that Greg died peacefully at the Halifax Infirmary on September 18, 2019. His long battle with the complications of diabetes has finally ended. He was born in Stellarton, NS on May 29, 1942. He is survived by his partner and friend of nearly 10 years, Wendy Pelley; his stepdaughters, Joanne Delaney and Stacey Jensen; his nephew, Jack Delaney (Kathy) and his 2 nieces, Tina and Tiffany Delaney. He was predeceased by; his parents, James Henry “Harry” Delaney and Katherine “Kay” Delaney (Robson); his brother, James Delaney (Maddie) and sister, Gloria Bruhn (Cecil). Greg led an interesting life which began in Stellarton working at a very young age, then to Halifax with TD Bank, out west in construction and sales, then back again to Bridgewater, NS where he held various sales positions. His last job was at the Legion in Bridgewater (Branch 024) where he felt very much at home. He loved to reminisce about the old days, family, friends … and cars! He will be truly missed especially by his dearest cousin, Ed Russell and second cousin, Denise Russell and of course, Mojo, “the smartest little dog ever”. A celebration of life will be held at the Bridgewater Legion (024), 78 Churchill St. on Sat., Sept. 28th at 2:00 pm. For more information, please go to; www.donaldwalker.ca
