Obituaries

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our mother Lorraine Jessie (Stoddard) Meldrum, 93, daughter of the late John Fanning and Mary Frances (Russell) Stoddard on January 20, 2025 at the Dartmouth General Hospital.

She is survived by daughters Sandra (Gary); Sharon; Jo-Ann (Dave); Dougie (Glenda); son-in-law Danny; and 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Donald; brothers Everett, Edward, Cecil, and Doug; daughter Pam; granddaughter Chantelle; great granddaughter Hannah; son-in-law Bill.

Mom was a homemaker all of her life, enjoying snowmobiling and camping with many friends and a few drinks. In her later years, her time was spent scratching tickets, colouring, doing puzzles, and she loved to read.

Many thanks to the Admiral Long Term Care (3 West) for the last five years of care and friendship. She loved you all, as do we. A family burial will take place at a later date
