MacDonald, Mary Ann [Miner], [Staples] of Lr Sackville, age 75 passed away at the Dartmouth General Hospital on the 14th of November, 2024.

Born in Dartmouth NS. Mary Ann was the daughter of George (Dick) and Mary Staples. Ann was still able to light-up Tommy's eyes when he looked at her. Shewas the loving mother of Wilfred and Tammy Miner; grandmother of three, and great grandmother of three.

Ann loved fishing with her sisters and wasa great lover of lobster. She also liked her bingo games where she worked the first half and played the last. Ann was beautiful and kind and only cranky with Tommy. She enjoyed going to her grandson's hockey games whenever possible. Ann kept her childhood ways when it came to Christmas [which she loved] and Halloween she would enjoy dressing up when giving out treats].

Mary Ann is survived by her husband, Thomas MacDonald, her son Wilfred and daughter Tammy [Darcy], her grandchildren Amanda and Matthew Edwards and Connor Miner; her great grandchildren Mackayla, Zackery, and Hunter.

She was predeceased by her parents, her brother Bernard and her sister Patsy Staples. Cremation has taken place. There will be a Celebration of Life at Weir Field Hall, 2476 Sackville Dr. on Friday November 22 from 5-7 pm. A light lunch will be served.
