Obituary For Muriel 'Mickey' Rita Nieforth

FYI Age 83, of Enfield passed away October 12, 2023 peacefully at home. Born in Renfrew, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Rose (Cooke) MacDonnell and resided in Enfield for most of her life.

Mickey enjoyed listening to country music and playing her dobro. She took pride in living a healthy lifestyle and would never turn down the opportunity to go on a shopping trip. Above all what she loved most was her family and her beloved pets.

Mickey is survived by her partner, Edward “Ned” Crawford; son, Barry Nieforth (Bobbi); grandchildren, Cody (Rachel) MacDonald, Darcy (Sarah) McDonald, Lacy (Ryan) Helpard; sister, Florence Wilson; many nieces and nephews and 5 great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her former husband, Myron; son, Edward; daughter, Valerie; brother, Andrew; sister, Marie.

Cremation has taken place and a family service will occur at a later date. A special thank you to VON nursing and home support for their care, as well as family members whom provided meals and support through this difficult time.
