Obituary For Stanley Ernst

Ernst, Stanley - Oakwood Terrace formerly of Timberlea passed away October 13th 2024. Born in Halifax, he was the son of the late Arnold Albert and Lillian Nowell Ernst.
He worked in the Halifax Dockyard for more than 40 years, he played baseball and football in his younger years, in his later years he coached hockey and started the Timberlea Beaver Colony as well as assisted with Cubs and Scouts. After retirement he volunteered at the IWK and was acknowledged for his work. He is survived by his daughter Dawna (Kevin) Henry, son David (Michelle) Ernst, grandson Zachary (Courtney) Henry, great granddaughters Emma and Sophie of Middle Sackville.
Cremation has taken place with burial at a later date.

    Stan was a kind and generous man. A caring brother to my father, devoted husband to my aunt and father to my cousins and a wonderful uncle to me. Rest in peace
